Carol Paynter-Arnold and Gaye Pessolano, friends since high school days, envisioned owning a shop together specializing in beautiful and unique gifts and jewelry.  Since opening Nest in 2002, Carol and Gaye have focused on choosing handmade items and unusual pieces purchased from small businesses or individual artists. Each item is specially selected and the inventory changes frequently so each visit offers a different shopping experience.  Carol and Gaye also look for businesses that utilize recycled items and/or give back in some way to their communities, ensuring a better world for all of us. 

Nest is also the only shop in Cape May that offers Trollbeads.  Trollbeads are sterling silver charm beads and hand made Murano glass beads that are strung together on a beautiful sterling silver chain to create completely unique and personal bracelets or necklaces.  Nest carries a full complement of beads at all times and Carol and Gaye will work personally to help you express your own individual creativity.

Carol and Gaye pride themselves in delivering excellent customer service by providing one-on-one attention to each customer’s needs.  They believe that the key to success is happy customers that look forward to their experience at Nest whether they are locals or just in town for a visit.
